The Real Junk Food Project Brighton C.I.C.
Directions
The Real Junk Food Project Brighton saves perfectly edible food from going to landfill, and we make it into healthy meals to feed people instead! Our Friday cafe at One Church is one of our most popular pop up cafe spaces in Brighton, where we feed approximately 100 people each week. All our meals are made from surplus ingredients, and are prepared, cooked, and served by a team of dedicated volunteers. Come along from 1pm-2:30pm for your "Pay As You Feel" eco-meal, and enjoy our creative friendly atmosphere. All proceeds raised at our cafe go straight back into the cause, to save more food and feed more people! Last year alone we saved 57 tonnes of surplus food, and fed over 20,000 people! Our motto is simple: "Feed Bellies Not Bins!"
