It’s Local Actually is provided by Possability People (who used to be The Fed Centre for Independent Living), a charity which supports disabled and older people to live as independently as possible.

It’s Local Actually is an easy way to find activities and services in your area, and it covers the whole of the city. We can even show your search results on a map.

You might want to find something to do in your neighbourhood, or you might be looking for somewhere to pursue your hobby. You can easily search for either (or both) with our activities search. We make sure all the activities listed are either free or low cost too.

Or you might be looking for an extra pair of hands around the house, a hair cut or help with shopping. A search of our businesses list will let you know what’s available in your area.
